Our Mission

We exist to help people from all walks of life learn to

Live for Jesus, Live like Jesus, Live with Jesus!

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Our Core Values

Committing to Live FOR Jesus.  Salvation ushers the believer into a new life (Rom. 6:4). This new life is characterized by a separation from our old ways of living, the old priorities the guided us and the old thinking that defined us. We now grow in love, trust and devotion to Jesus. We all must put into action the words of John the Baptist “He must increase and I must decrease” (John 3:30). We learn to live FOR Jesus as we identify with Jesus' death and understand that the life we now live is one where Christ is central (Gal. 2:20). This is a place where believers are encouraged to draw near to the Lord, hold fast to the confession of their faith (Heb. 10:22-23), and never look back with desire upon the old life they were delivered from (Phil. 3:13).

Learning to live LIKE Jesus.  Believers are to engage in what the Bible calls “discipleship” (Matt. 28:19-20). Discipleship is the personal activity of studying the teachings of Jesus, applying them to one’s life, and becoming more like Him through a growing relationship with God. Discipleship is necessary for spiritual growth.  Discipleship and spiritual growth are deepened by engaging a community of believers - known as the Church (Heb. 10:25). We are not meant to live in isolation and we are spiritually incomplete without participating in the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12). We exist to help believers develop meaningful relationships, find God’s wisdom for living and provide help in dealing with the challenges of everyday life.

Preparing to live WITH Jesus.  Believers are designed for service and will one day give an accounting to Jesus of what we accomplished with the talents he has given us (Matt. 25). We are all created with a unique mix of spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, temperaments, and experiences that complements each other and help us understand where God wants us to serve. Identifying and developing God-given gifts and using them in service to God and others is essential for believers. We want to use our gifts to build each other up, express God’s love in ways that build relationships, be aware of  opportunities to share God’s plan of salvation and love the community by meeting the needs of those around us. When we are one day standing before our Lord and Savior in Heaven, we will look forward to hearing, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
